The Functionality Behind C101 Copper
C101 copper, also known as C10100 or Oxygen-Free Electronic (OFE) copper, is a 99.99% pure copper alloy with an oxygen content of just 0.0005%.
It’s produced by melting and casting in a carefully controlled, oxygen-free environment, which eliminates the risk of hydrogen embrittlement at elevated temperatures.
This ultra-low oxygen content delivers a minimum 101% IACS electrical conductivity rating, high thermal conductivity, low volatility under high vacuum, strong impact resistance, and excellent solderability, brazing, and weldability.
