Eagle has long carried high precision copper alloys, or high-performance alloys (HPAs) coil and strip, since our inception. As a reroller supplying industries looking for beryllium copper alternatives, HPA's coil and strip became a go-to in the connector industry.
We carry several different grades of HPA’s, including:
19010
19010 is an extremely versatile copper nickel silicon alloy. It has an excellent combination of strength, conductivity and formability that makes it great for many designs.
Typical uses include terminals, relays, connectors, sockets, clips and springs.
19210
19210 has higher strengths than most alloys but thanks to chemistry and processing it retains formability and conductivity that other copper alloys lose.
Typical uses include cooling fins for radiators, connectors, terminals, IC lead frames, and heat-resistant applications.
7025
7025 has excellent thermal conductivity as well as good electrical conduction. It solders easily and can be a direct replacement for some beryllium copper applications. It has a long history in the automotive industry making it a legacy alloy still used today.
7026
7026 is used in springs, terminals, elevated temperature interconnects and high reliability telecommunication components.

Eagle Metals specializes in custom quantities, starting at 100 pounds for minimum order quantities (MOQ) and still able to handle master coils up to 740 PIW.
Along with our tight tolerance sheet, strip, and coil, we offer several in-house capabilities. We can cut your items to length as well as perform annealing, edge conditioning, slitting, tension leveling, and traverse-winding. We can reduce size, change dimensions, and alter physical and mechanical properties, as needed, to specification.
